Summary role description:
We are hiring for a Customer Engineer – Active Directory for a global specialist Platform Engineering Solutions, IT Services and Consulting services client.

Role details:
- Title / Designation: Customer Engineer – Active Directory
- Work mode: Remote (first 3 months, then WFO)
- Location: Cairo, Egypt
Role & responsibilities:
- Having deep technical expertise in at least one technical specialty and can solve complex technical problems through sound, creative troubleshooting. The candidate should also need to examine possible workarounds and escalations as required.
- Set an example of excellence as a Microsoft representative, enhancing the company's image and reputation through your credibility, preparation, commitment, and first-class delivery.
- Must have domain controller experience.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills; ability to develop strategic on-going customer relationships, gain trust and respect for the company. Engineers must also possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills.
- Enjoy teamwork, and actively contribute to their peer group as well as our customer account teams.
- Communicate at all levels from CIO to the technical staff on the ground.
Candidate requirements:
- Overall, 4 to 10 years of experience, of which relevant years of experience in the enterprise customer arena.
- Able to communicate in Spanish (at least a B1 language proficiency in speaking and listening)
- Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management
- Face-to-face customer engagement and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
- In depth knowledge in the active directory domain services like replication, performance skills and disaster recovery.
- Fundamental networking knowledge – IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, routing etc.
- Preferred to know Active Directory scripting knowledge, and monitoring tools.
