Responsibilities / Expected Capabilities :

Perform Cyber Security efforts associated with embedded products.

Individual must have the ability to read and understand system Security requirements, design approaches based on those requirements.

The selected candidate is expected to have a background in product life cycle, design products, troubleshooting and will be involved in all aspects of the product development process (concept, design, validation and production).

There will be frequent interaction with project management both locally and overseas and need to work with teams at global locations across different time zones.

Individual must be self-directed, highly motivated, eager to learn, and organized with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, and an ability to work on multiple projects and functions in a team environment globally.

Essential Competencies:

Analyze, interpret and clarify customer requirements and transform them into technical SW designs and specifications.

Understanding of Standard ISO21434

In Vehicle cryptography

AUTOSAR & Secure Software development

Understanding Automotive Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing

Participate in customer meetings. Evaluate, discuss and create security designs with the customer.

Identify and address security problems e.g. for fuzz- or penetration testing or audits.

Review security documentation.

Develops technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities

Work closely with stakeholders to understand the product security requirements and use cases in order to deliver high quality software on schedule for production releases.

Implement and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture

Perform code review to improve software security

Should be able to analyze application security vulnerabilities found through testing and collaborate with development and other internal technical teams to provide mitigation steps to reduce the risk.

Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, applied cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation Interest in all aspects of security research and development

Help, define, promote and ensure adherence to Quality assurance processes such as test plan reviews, defect management, risk/complexity analysis and regression test maintenance.

Work closely with application developers and help in delivering quality software

Contributes ideas on product and process improvements
