• Location: India
• Reporting Manager: BI Team Lead
• Work mode: Remote

Role & responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end ETL and ELT workflows to support core business data operations.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in Databricks, ensuring consistent and efficient data delivery.
• Develop and optimize data models and warehouses in SAP BW to enable effective data analysis and reporting.
• Write and fine-tune high-performance scripts using T-SQL, PySpark, and ABAP for complex data processing tasks.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to ensure smooth data flow.
• Create insightful data visualizations and reports using SAP BO for business decision-making.
• Work with cloud-based platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, to support scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.

Candidate requirements:

• 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in ETL and ELT development using SSIS, Databricks, and ABAP.
• Skilled in data analytics and processing leveraging Databricks and SAP BW for business insights.
• Experienced in data visualization and reporting using SAP BO.                                                       
• Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and ABAP for developing optimized and automated data engineering processes.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools for streamlined deployments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to ensure data reliability.
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and adaptability when working across time zones.
• Maintains a growth mindset with a curiosity to explore emerging technologies for continuous platform improvement.
