Brief description about the role:

The Solution Architect will be responsible for applying Data Management and Transformation strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company’s vision, and supporting Data Management & implementation on Informatica platform technologies. The candidate should be able to design and develop the information architecture for a robust Data Management platform that matches and consolidates key data subject areas in a manner that is aligned to the company’s strategic vision.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Running discovery workshops to identify challenges and articulating the business benefits.
• Working with stakeholders to bring alignment across business functions & socializing business benefits.
• Evangelization of Data Management, Data Quality and its importance to an organization by building a brand, running workshops, training programs, newsletters
• Establishing enterprise Data Quality frameworks to track, audit, measure and report the quality of data and putting together solutions to cleanse data.
• Putting together Data governance framework which including, building, and training the data stewards team both on IT and business side.
• Establish data enrichment strategy across industries & geographies from 2nd/3rd party sources.
• Implemented customer journey analytics starting all the way from the awareness stage to customer loyalty stage and all stages in between.

Skills

• Should have delivered complex Data Management and Quality solutions for SMB to Large enterprise customers. Deep expertise in Hi-Tech industry and implementing EIM solutions for ON-prem and SaaS enterprises.
• Should have experience putting together overall technical architecture and the infrastructure required to address their business goals. These areas include data architecture, performance scaling, cloud computing, analytics, enterprise-wide SOA.
• Good functional knowledge of Customer portfolio and all different phases of customer journey and analytics that go along with those phases and the impact it can create on the success of an enterprise.
• Experience eliciting and prioritizing critical requirements, develop, execute as well as implement business processes and SOP’s to meet their needs.
• Experience working on identifying the right hierarchy design for enterprises based on the business needs. Designing alternate hierarchies and reporting solutions depending on the business rules and type of business
• Helped Fortune 500 companies strategize and architect various Data management solutions that have encompassed both business and technology.

• 8+ years of experience in Data management, Quality, Governance, or related field using Informatica’s suite of EIM products and solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management best practices
• Strong data analysis skills. Proficient in writing complex and efficient SQL queries and tuning them for performance when required.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView, is a plus.
• Experience with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA, is a plus.
• Hands-on expertise required with Informatica tools and utilities such as Data Controls, Data Director and Data Quality preferably.
• Familiarity with iterative development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
