Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the technical team responsible for data center operations.

• Oversee Wintel environments, including server installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Design, implement, and manage virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Administer and optimize backup processes using Veritas tools.

• Manage and maintain EMC storage systems, ensuring efficient and reliable data management.

• Provide basic support and understanding of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data center strategies.

• Ensure adherence to security standards, compliance policies, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in data center operations or a related domain.

• Strong expertise in Wintel environments and virtualization technologies.

• Proficiency in Veritas backup tools and EMC storage solutions.

• Basic working knowledge of proxy servers and Microsoft Exchange.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.

• Proven leadership and team management experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Veritas, EMC).

• Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid environments.

• Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks
