Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will work closely with our data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to build and maintain our data infrastructure. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and platform architectures to enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing.

Responsibilities:

• Create, design, and maintain data pipelines and architectures

• Build and maintain data warehouse and ETL processes

• Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy machine learning models into production

• Develop tools and frameworks to improve data quality and reliability

• Perform data profiling and analysis to identify areas for improvement in data quality and performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and scalability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering

• Strong knowledge of SQL and ETL pipeline development

• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Proficiency in Python or Java programming languages

• Familiarity with Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)

• Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
