In this role you will:

• Shape the transformation of Bosch towards an AIoT company with a modern software culture.
• Act as an expert and a consultant in Data Engineering such as automated data pipelines for large data sets.
• Analyze the business and development environment. You derive solutions and develop the software architecture for digitalizing our business and development processes.
• Develop concepts and innovative approaches to improve software engineering processes including automation.
• You will extract, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, using algorithmic, data mining, and statistical tools, in order to make it accessible to businesses.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent field
• Several years of experience in data handling.
• Good knowledge in at least one of the programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, Scala, C#, etc.).
• Experience with database systems SQL / NoSQL.
• Experience with cloud native technologies (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem (i.e., Spark) is an advantage.
• Experience with PowerBI/Tableau and fast prototyping tools is an advantage.
• Good competencies in spoken and written English.
