Data Engineer – Nonprofit / Marketing Data

Job Description

We are looking to onboard Data Engineering resources to support our growing data initiatives. The ideal candidates will have experience working with nonprofit data or CRM and marketing data.

You will work closely with analytics, operations, and client-facing teams to build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for analytics and reporting
• Work with CRM, fundraising, and marketing data
• Develop and manage data transformations using dbt
• Load, transform, and model data in Snowflake
• Build and manage data integrations using Bytespree (custom connectors) and Fivetran
• Support data activation and reverse ETL using Hightouch
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Data Engineering
• Nonprofit data experience preferred (fundraising, donor, campaign data)
• Experience with CRM and marketing data is mandatory
• Mandatory Hands-on experience with:
• Python
• SQL
• PostgreSQL
• Snowflake
• dbt
• Fivetran
• CRM and marketing data

• Familiarity with Bytespree or custom data connectors is a plus
• Experience with Hightouch or reverse ETL tools is a plus
