• Title / Designation: Data Platform Engineer (Intelligence) - Python
• Location: Hyderabad

Role & responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI or Superset.
• Develop and maintain Python-based APIs to integrate with their data platform.
• Troubleshoot and debug data issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to develop and implement data models and dashboards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
• Analyze data requirements and recommend solutions to meet business needs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data reporting and analysis.

Candidate requirements:

• 3 - 6 years of experience in developing Python-based APIs and reporting solutions using Power BI or Superset.
• Strong python programming skills, with experience in SQL and other data processing languages.
• Expertise in the use of cloud computing systems like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, SnowSQL and data lineage Tools (Datahub, Atlan, Drimeo)
• Expertise in ETL/ELT technologies (Python, Scala, dbt)
• Knowledge of cloud data visualization and report technologies (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and CI/CD
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Data Streams, Data Products and Rest APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and cooperation abilities, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry developments.
