Role - Data Quality Analyst
Experience - 5 to 8 years
NP - Immediate to 30 days
Locations - Pune/Gurgaon/Noida/Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and improve data quality across various types of insurance data, including delegated data, claims, underwriting, credit control, reinsurance, finance, actuarial and compliance.
• Perform data profiling to identify patterns and anomalies that affect data quality.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of data sets and data extracts to detect quality issues.
• Develop and implement data scanning rules to automate the detection of data problems, integrating with data catalogue and lineage in data management tool.
• Report data quality issues, outlining their potential impacts on business processes and downstream usage.
• Develop SQL Queries to analyse the data and implement validation rules.
• Work closely with data owners and other stakeholders to understand and enhance business rules affecting data quality.
• Facilitate meetings and working groups to report on findings and progress in data quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data management industry regulations and standards in data management practices.
• Analyze current data rules and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Skills and Experience:
• Strong background in data analysis with skills in data quality rule implementation and carrying out data profiling.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with senior technology and business stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and consideration of all areas of the insurance process to work out the approach to gather the requirements for improving data quality across the enterprise.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases.
• Knowing PowerBI and DQpro will be advantageous.
