We Are looking for a professional Database Administrator (DBA) who can keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.

Responsibilities of Database Administrator

• Controlling, maintenance, coordinating, and operation of Database Management System.
• Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users’ information needs and views.
• Build and develop queries, stores procedure, etc. that meets firm or organization needs.
• Network and Security: A DBA should be knowledgeable about network protocols, firewalls, and security policies to ensure that the database is secure from external threats.
• He/she should be familiar with Linux/Windows OS, Windows Servers.
• Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming skills (SSIS), experience deploying on enterprise.
• RDBMS and OLAP data platforms.
• Makes the decision concerning the content of the database.
• Manage, maintain and upgrade the Database server when required.
• Plans the storage structure and access strategy.
• Monitor the performance and respond to the changes in the requirements.
• Regular status reporting and team handling.
• Proficient of Backup and restore of Database.
• Database migration.
• Should have good analytical and learning ability.

Skills required for DBA

• The skills required to be a successful DBA are as follows:-
• Database designing.
• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
• Know about distributed architecture.
• Knowledge on different operating servers.
• Knowledge on AWS and Shell Scripting would be added advantages.
• Knowledge in Python.
