We are looking for a DBA Administrator, who will be part of the Information & Communications Technology Department as member ICT Infrastructures Team, supporting the system engineer team with a specific focus on databases infrastructures.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

• Manage as DBA the DB environments (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Manage the BI infrastructure (Oracle BI and Oracle Exadata)
• Support the current team in the ordinary and extraordinary management of the datacenter systems;
• Ensure appropriate troubleshooting of problems and their management also through third-party vendors;
• Check that the contractual service levels are respected and take any corrective actions with a view to continuous improvement of the service;
• Plan the maintenance and monitoring of the systems to ensure proper functioning.

MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preferable Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Years of experience 3 - 5 years
• Very good knowledge of English language
• Has a proven experience on Oracle Databases as well as on Oracle KVM virtualization environments
• Demonstrates a good understanding of monitoring environments and complex backup / disaster recovery scenarios, preferably in Enterprise contexts
• Has a good knowledge in at least, of one of the following databases: PostgreSQL, mySQL or Microsoft SQL Server
• Reliable, flexible, Team worker
