Job Description
- Job Title – Dealer Development Manager
- Dealer network management and expansion as per market potential.
- Responsible for dealer development activity both qualitative, quantitative including dealer engagement initiatives.
- Territory mapping – Market mapping based on potential, competition presence, identify grey spots and prepare plan to cover gaps
- Identify prospective dealers in mapped gray spots – Initial contact, check compatibility and interest.
- Support region in onboarding and hand holding of new dealers. Arrange for a dealer induction program to acquaint the dealer with STIHL INDIA Dealer policies
- Dealer performance monitoring and escalations to Regional Managers & Sales Director with performance improvement
- Should act as a bridge between the dealers, regional team and the Management to share pain areas and support wherever required.
- Support and actively participate in Dealer audits / health checks
- Ensuring proper internal and external communication
- Must possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Coordination with the Product management and Technical team for dealer employee trainings.
- End to end new Dealer appointment, on boarding and legal formalities
- Support regional team to drive dealer commercial policy and dealer up gradation as per qualification criteria
- Conduct monthly / Quarterly review meetings with Regions to check progress on dealer net scorecard & other dealer related KPI’s
- Coordinating the secondary network expansion and service expansion of STIHL India Dealerships.
- Coordination in ensuring smooth closure of Dealer business and settlement of cases.
