Our Client is a powerfull F&B Group of companies who is rapidly expanding in East Europe and globally as well.
The DEPUTY CMO will support the Chief Marketing Officer (who has recently been appointed) with strategic inputs and oversee the operational marketing activities for the group. The office in London is a start up with 2-3 global managers, aiming to grow to 5 this year and it is intendended to coordinate global operations and to oversee the global brand teams and marketing operations, as well as responsibility for pacing & policing marketing activities into the number one market in East Europe.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare and help implement marketing plan & budgets
- Carry out product & market surveys as needed to build the marketing plan
- Monitor how the businesses are doing in achieving of their targets & make suggestions for improving performance
- Research new product & market ideas
- Analyze sales data for insights
- Provide product & information support where needed
- Ensure complete & accurate sales documentation
- Provide insights & support in the customer acquisition & market share growth of various divisions of the Company.
- Actively take part in getting ready the quarterly reviews & follow up to ensure implementation of ideas discussed
- Preparation of reports made by Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) office. Liaise with businesses on all other reports of businesses-level 2 meetings, MR’s, QR’s preparation etc.
- Support CMO in making the procurement plan
- Closely work with the Business heads in identifying new supply sources
- Leadership by example for superior performance.
- Lead on any project or program as agreed by the Chief Marketing Officer.
- Undertake such other duties as may be appropriate to the post, required by the Company's Management, respecting the indicated deadlines.
Key Candidate' Requirements:
The company seeks a strong operator who is commercially minded and proficient at identifying business opportunities.
The candidate should be willing to travel to East Europe and be well-versed in navigating complex challenges. Work will be based 3 days /week from the office, the rest can be remote /wfh.
Experience as a Marketing Director in a rapidly growing organization is desirable, and international experience or demonstrable experience in the UK is valued.
We would highly appreciate F&B background. Someone able to demonstrate that he/she can also cope with work within an unstructured business environment. Creative, pro-active but also flexible, versatile.
In detail:
- 5+ years of experience in similar/relevant position
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic work
- Proven record of delivering the design, development and management of Marketing services
- Demonstrable ability to think and plan strategically and creatively
- Ability to write easy-to-read, understandable content
- Excellent knowledge and experience of project management principles, staff management, budget management and contract negotiation
Studies: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a directly related field plus five years of marketing experience of which two years is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- A valid driver’s license.
- Advanced usage experience in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- High standards with regards to social and environmental performance
