Deputy Manager - Automotive Lubricants
A leading global specialty lubricants provider seeks a strategic product management professional for its Technical Division. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, this Grade JM1 role drives automotive lubricant product development, customer relationships, and OEM approvals.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for automotive lubricant selection and recommendations tailored to customer needs.

Build technical relationships with customers, resolve product complaints within specified timelines, and lead technical aspects of customer projects including presentations, training, and trials.

Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Quality teams on new product launches, OEM approvals, training programs, technical documentation (FMEAs), e-learning modules, trade shows, and marketing materials.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Automobile, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (MBA preferred).

8+ years in automotive product management, customer complaint handling, and project leadership.
Key Skills Profile

Excellent communication and presentation skills for internal/external interactions.

Experience with field trials, complaint analysis, lab test interpretation, and OEM approvals.

Strong analytical abilities, commercial acumen, self-driven mindset, team collaboration, extensive travel willingness, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) with SAP knowledge preferred.
