Job Purpose(s)
To provide robust leadership and strategic management for the marketing operations of the Bank, aligning all aspects of the country's business with the realization of the bank’s mission and vision.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies, overseeing budget implementation for the bank.
- Drive revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth for the business.
- Function as the chief marketing officer of the bank's subsidiary.
- Lead the development and implementation of a dynamic marketing strategy for bank operations.
- Champion the marketing and business development function, ensuring a substantial impact on the bank's bottom-line.
- Manage and inspire the marketing team to achieve increased value creation, business volume, and enhanced profitability.
- Analyze mandatory standard reports submitted by Business Directors and departmental/functional heads.
- Ensure quality regulatory relationships, eliminating infractions, and achieving a zero-level fraud environment.
- Create and maintain a stable risk management environment to eliminate exposure to franchise risks.
- Ensure the subsidiary achieves optimum brand visibility, leveraging this capability for business success.
- Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in a relevant area of discipline.
- Master’s degree or Professional Qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable.
Experience
A minimum of 18 years’ relevant banking experience, with at least 10 years at the senior management level.
