Minimum Expereince - 7+ Years 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the casting team and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and casting processes for transformer manufacturing.
• Conduct thorough analysis and understanding of customer requirements related to transformer design.
• Provide technical support to customers by proposing appropriate transformer designs that meet their needs and specifications.
• Develop detailed technical designs for Dry Type, Cast Resin, and VPI Type transformers, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed drawings and models for transformer components, working closely with the casting team to optimize designs for manufacturability.
• Coordinate with the casting team to address any design challenges or issues that arise during the manufacturing process, providing technical guidance and solutions as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and sales to ensure seamless execution of transformer design projects.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in transformer technology and incorporate relevant innovations into design processes.
• Conduct testing and validation of transformer designs to ensure performance and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in transformer design, with a focus on Dry Type, Cast Resin, and VPI Type transformers.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and transformer design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in design work.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience collaborating with casting teams or other manufacturing teams is preferred.
