JD Brief:

PV SCADA/PLC/RTU, Renewable, Design, Detail Engineering, System Architecture, Communication Protocol, IO List, Multivendor (OEMs) Automation & Network, Vendor document (Technical offer, System Architecture, FDS/ Control Philosophy, Data sheet, GA/IGA, Wiring, SCADA/PLC/RTU/Network Component/Server/GPS) in field of Renewable, Microgrid, Energy Storage.

Added advantage (not mandatory): Hands-on SCADA/PLC/RTU Software & Configuration, Communication Protocol (Modbus, IEC61850, IEC104 etc.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and submission of basic design and detail engineering drawings/ documents.
• Technical review, coordination, and submission of vendor engineering deliverables.
• Review of Vendor offer and technical clearance for order placement.
• Feed and guide to project software programming and development team for successful delivery of the project solution.
• Coordination with Customer for approval of drawings/documents.
• Extending strong support to the site execution and commissioning team (support for queries related to feasibility & other aspects of design).
• Preparation of engineering plan aligned with the project and site delivery plan.
• Arrange and participate in engineering review meetings with relevant project stakeholders.
• Ensuring application of relevant international standards & codes of general engineering practices on design & drawings with a focus on quality.
• Incorporation of cost optimization and best value engineering practices.
• Meeting engineering KPI’s.
• Conducting and participation in Technical Audit.
• Always acting in the best interests of the company.
• Performing such other tasks as are consistent with the position and in the support of the head of your team.

DESIRED:

1. Knowledgeable of project planning, delivery, software programming and development 
2. Hands-on SCADA/ PLC software programming and development 
3. Good Knowledge of Management processes.
4. Sound technical understanding and experience in at least three of the following: 

• Power system stability.
• Steady-state and dynamic modelling of power systems.
• Control engineering.
• Wide area monitoring and control.
• Power system operation.
• Generator and/or power systems testing.   

5. Secondary engineering for digital substation projects, Protection SLD, CT/VT Sizing.2
6. Knowledge of Protection devices configuration 
7. Understanding of RTS (Real-Time digital Simulation) skills.
