JD Brief:

SCADA DMS /ADMS /OMS, Power & Energy, Power Distribution Management, Design, Detail Engineering, System Architecture, Communication Protocol, IO List, Multivendor (OEMs) Automation & Network, Vendor document (Technical offer, System Architecture, FDS/ Control Philosophy, Logic/ Functional Block Diagram, Data sheet, SCADA/PLC/RTU/Network Component/Server/GPS).

Added advantage (not mandatory): Hands-on SCADA/ ADMS/DMS Software & Configuration, Communication Protocol (Modbus, IEC61850, IEC104, OPC etc.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and review of basic design and detail engineering drawings/ documents.

• Technical review and coordination for vendor engineering deliverables.

• Review of Vendor offer and technical clearance for order placement.

• Feed and guide to project software programming and development team for

successful delivery of the project solution.

• Coordination with Customer and obtain approval of project drawings/documents.

• Extending strong support to the site execution and commissioning team (support for

queries related to feasibility & other aspects of design).

• Preparation of engineering plan aligned sequence of site execution team activities

• Review and tracking engineering activities ensuring it is in line with project schedule.

• Arrange and participate engineering review meetings with relevant project

stakeholders and customer.

• Support for department process

• Ensuring application of relevant international standards & codes of general

engineering practices on design & drawings with a focus on quality.

• Incorporation of cost optimization and best value engineering practices.

• Meeting engineering KPI’s.

•Conducting and participation in Technical Audit.

• Always acting in the best interests of the company.

• Performing such other tasks as are consistent with the position and in the support of

the head of your team.

DESIRED:

-Knowledgeable of project planning, delivery.

- Hands-on SCADA/ PLC software programming and development

- Good Knowledge of Management processes

- Sound technical understanding and experience in at least three of the following:

• Power system stability.
• Steady-state and dynamic modelling of power systems.
• Control engineering.
• Wide-area monitoring and control.
• Power system operation.
• Generator and/or power systems testing.

- Secondary engineering for digital substation projects, Protection SLD, CT/VT Sizing.

- Knowledge of Protection devices configuration

- Understanding of RTS (Real-Time digital Simulation) skills.
