Network & Sysadmin – Job Description 

The role:

• Automating the Build and Delivery of software using CI/CD tools
• Automating infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments
• Building tools to automate the creation of Infrastructure as Code or Pipeline as Code templates
• Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure resources hosted in cloud environments
• Implement automation, effective monitoring, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Develop, deploy, manage, and maintain CI/CD processes, code, agents, and pipelines for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible
• Support and work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies, in an Agile environment to support individuals on proper DevOps practices
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team
• Support development teams in technical questions of continuous integration/continuous delivery organizations
• Manage Linux environments, familiar with command line
• Azure technologies

Requirements:

• Scripting Languages (Bash, Perl, Python or PowerShell)
• Proficient understanding of cloud services and provisioning cloud infrastructure
• Monitoring and maintenance of provisioned infrastructure and deployed software
• Experience in working in Microsoft Azure cloud
• Knowledge of ERP system (Dyn365) or similar
• Knowledge in JavaScript, API’s
• System Administration and Service Level Objective
