We are seeking a Development Manager to lead the planning, structuring, and execution of renewable energy projects in Ireland, working closely with development teams, market strategy managers, and cross-functional support functions.
Key Responsibilities

Support Local Teams: Assist project managers with site identification, planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.

Standardisation of Practices: Develop and share tools, methodologies, and best practices for project development.

Cross-functional Coordination: Ensure project consistency across regions and central functions (technical, legal, financial).

Technological & Regulatory Watch: Monitor developments in the renewable energy sector, anticipating impacts on grid connection, permitting, and project design.

Training & Skills Development: Train local teams on technical and operational aspects of projects.

Performance Monitoring: Implement KPIs and provide regular reporting to management.
Requirements

5+ years of proven experience in renewable energy project development.

Strong understanding of the Irish and European energy markets.

Technical knowledge of project design, grid connection, and permitting processes.

Experienced in planning, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.

Skilled at coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder projects with multidisciplinary teams.

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Organised, proactive, solution-oriented, with strong interpersonal and governance skills.
