Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the build, integration and test environments, and help troubleshoot issues in those environments.
• Design, build and advance CI/CD pipelines for fast, preferably fully automated iterations in build, test and release
• Continuously improve the overall development process by identifying gaps or inefficiencies in workflows, and increasing the overall level of automation
• Drive the adoption of best practices in dev ops and environment management, assisting team members to use Azure DevOps effectively.
• Develop monitoring dashboards to improve observability of builds and releases
• Utilize your deep experience and problem-solving skills to help support and operations teams to prevent and investigate production issues
• Lead trainings and discussions to evangelize DevOps frameworks and best practices
• Collaborate with other initiatives and areas within the company with respect to DevOps
• Implement various development, testing and automation tools in the IT infrastructure. 

 Who we are seeking

• A degree in or related to Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related discipline
• At least 3 years of software engineering experience
• Expert in Git, hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools, like Azure DevOps
• Experience with configuration management and IaaC tools, like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
• Proven experience in software build and delivery in .Net
• Profound knowledge of at least one of OOP languages (preferably C#)
• Comfortable with Linux and Windows environments, and very good scripting skills with Python, PowerShell and/or BASH for use in automation routines
• Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes from a DevOps perspective
• Hands-on experience with one of the logging and monitoring/observability stacks, like Elastic, Azure Monitor, Datadog, and solid understanding of the underlying concepts is a plus
• Experience with IaaS and PaaS offerings of Azure
• Experience with agile delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban etc)
• Passion for software engineering and automation in software development in particular
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven & motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving
• Familiarity with trading and risk management from commodity or financial markets space would also be a plus
