Role details:
- Title / Designation: DevOps Engineer
- Location: Bangalore / Mysore
Role & responsibilities:
- Ability to implement various IT infrastructure, development, testing, and automation technologies.
- Planning the team's composition, activity, and participation in project management tasks.
- Ability to handle external interfaces and stakeholders.
- Defining and establishing DevOps operation's development, test, release, update, and support processes troubleshooting methods and fixing configuration flaws.
- Ensuring that processes are followed throughout their full lifecycle, and modifying existing ones or developing new ones to make them better and use resources more efficiently.
- Promoting and implementing automated processes when appropriate.
- Managing infrastructure developed with helm charts and the GCP Kubernetes environment.
Candidate requirements:
- Must have 2-4 years of experience in DevOps in developing pipelines, deploying software and configuring and maintaining systems, solution strategy and delivery.
- Hands on experience in managing a difficult, multi-server, Microservice environment, CI/CD pipelines and associated ideas.
- Experience in dealing with management tracking technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, or one or more of the following: Telegraf, Nagios, Check mk, Cloudwatch, Splunk, Javamelody, etc.
- Hands on experience on wide range of tools, open-source technologies, cloud services and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in setting up and configuring infrastructure for public and hybrid clouds.
- Hands on experience in handling external interfaces and stakeholders
- Good understanding in project demands and client requirements
- Bachelors of engineering - computer science, or any closely related field.
