Responsibilities:

Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Setting up tools and required infrastructure
Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

Technical Skills:

2 to 3 years of DevOps experience.
Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for SaaS applications with tools like Jenkins etc.
Source code management & integration using tools like Github etc.
Experience in developing/configuring processes required for Security & Performance monitoring
Hands-on experience to build and handle VM’s, Containers utilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

Soft Skills

Excellent teamworking and communication skills
Knowledge of programming languages
Strong problem-solving skills 
Open mindset to deal with various problems and find ways to automate
