Our client is a successful company in the Biomedical sector that is owned by a multinational pharmaceutical company. For the location Bologna we are currently looking for a

DevOps Software Engineer

Who will develop and maintain:

• Solution to streamline internal software development (e.g. Build server, coding standard, etc.).
• Web tools, cloud solutions and IT support platforms.
• Unit testing solutions to test internal product.

Responsibilities:

• Design workflows to streamline the software development
• Design and construct solutions to automate software development and testing
• Develop, configure and maintain components of IT platforms (e.g. cloud solutions)
• Design, develop and maintain Unit testing and related environment
• Manage autonomously every aspect of the software lifecycle process, from the requirement elicitations/prioritize, up to the verification/validation and deployment
• Design and construct software in compliance with the IVD Medical Device Standards

Basic Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronic or Physic
• 3 plus year experience
• Deeply knowledge of Build server technologies (Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Deeply knowledge of Linux operative system
• Dynamic web programming using Python, Javascript, Html
• Work autonomously in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, with accuracy, reactivity and reliability
• The ability to perform professionally under pressure and quickly adapt to new situations is required
• Availability to travel worldwide
• Good English knowledge (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in academic and/or industrial research
• Experience of Unit Testing technologies (e.g. Parasoft, LDRA, VectorCAST)
• Experience of Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Polarion or equivalents)
• Knowledge of backup and safety storage techniques
