Job Requirements

• Should be strong in handling commercials. Must be well versed with negotiations with customers & suppliers. Guide, Mentor and develop second line to handling product costing.
• Implementing project schedules and plans in a timely effective manner.
• Directing the production team members and introducing efficient methods of production line.
• Achieve Internal & External PPM level.
• New Supplier Selection & Development including initial assessment.
• Cost Reduction; New Cost saving ideas Implementation; Localization of parts, Stage reduction / Alternate Process / Material.
• Responsible for pricing as well as vendor negotiations, shall be also responsible for strategic sourcing.
• Should be knowledgeable about modern manufacturing techniques like progression/compound tooling for stamping, latest assembly techniques / practices, mistake proofing. Use of AI in assembly as well as other processes.
• Continual Quality Improvement, support certification process according to ISO 9001 and TS16949
• Develop second line leadership

Functional Skills required:-

• Lean Manufacturing
• Automotive Background
• Well verse with concepts of Kaizens / Continuous Improvements / Quality Circles
• ISO TS 16949
• Cross functional team leadership skills
• Min-Max inventory level monitoring
• Monthly Procurement plan preparation

• Should have skills to hire new teams.
• Be able to take up plant responsibilities by way of moving up the ladder.
• Fair knowledge of Profit and Loss.
• Ability to lead Multi-disciplinary teams effectively
• Strong Communication, Leadership skills and business acumen.
