Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement IT and security strategies in line with business goals.
• Execute and oversee key technology projects to enhance organizational capabilities.

Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance productivity and security.

• Security Management:
• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

Manage security tools, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

• Infrastructure Oversight:
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Manage network architecture, hardware, and disaster recovery planning.

• Information Governance:
• Develop and enforce data management policies.

Oversee data classification, storage, and access controls.

• Vendor Management:
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors.

Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor compliance.

• Incident Response and Compliance:
• Develop and maintain incident response plans.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• User Training and Awareness:
• Implement training programs for IT security.

Promote a security-aware culture throughout the organization.

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Establish KPIs for IT and security operations.
• Regularly report on performance metrics to senior management.
• Develop and manage IT and security budgets.
• Provide financial reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT and security functions.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, compliance standards, and emerging technologies. Is aware of or has undergone certifications like
• Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification
• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
