Job Description – Group Head of Digital Marketing
The AMPL group is looking for a qualified, senior-level Group Head of Digital Marketing to take the lead in developing successful, long-term digital marketing strategies for our company.
As a Group Head of Digital Marketing, we are looking for someone with in-depth marketing experience and a passion for digital technologies. It is expected that you will find innovative ways to place us at all digital customer touchpoints. You will be involved in generating leads for sales across our 18 brands. You will work closely with different teams to ensure consistency through all digital marketing channels. You should also provide forward-thinking ideas to build, develop and maintain a strong company web presence across all digital platforms.
You will be managing a medium sized team consisting of Search Engine marketers, SEO experts, Video and Graphic Designers, Content writers and web developers. In case of large projects, you would be permitted to take external support from empanelled agencies.
Ultimately, you should be able to drive all digital marketing efforts to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Build our digital marketing roadmap
- Conceptualize, Develop, Build and Manage all digital marketing channels (e.g., website, blogs, emails, and social media) to ensure brand visibility and awareness
- Develop specific campaigns on search and social media to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
- Oversee our social media accounts with engagement and awareness
- Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics
- Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budgets brand-wise
- Forecast performance trends and act proactively to sustain conversion%
- Strategize with the Executive Director’s office, brand CEOs and the internal digital team to come up with monthly content, campaign and engagement plans
- Motivate the internal digital marketing team to achieve goals
- Monitor our competition and provide ideas to stand out
- Stay up to date with digital technology developments
You will be a perfect fit for the role if you have
- Demonstrated successful experience heading a Digital marketing team
- Proven experience in building and implementing effective digital marketing strategies/campaigns across SEM and social media
- Have a strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
- Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices
- Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
- Familiarity with web design
- Experience with a content management system (e.g., WordPress)
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and project management skills
- Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills
- 10-12 years of experience in Marketing, Digital technologies, or relevant field
- At least a post-graduate/MBA equivalent in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a relevant field
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- A keen eye for details
- An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
