DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

Main purpose of the job:

Define the methodology and strategy for Data Migration from Creo platform to 3D Experience platform. Plan Migrations activities with partners to meet program goals. Define Migration activity metrics and present to management.

The position reports directly to Senior Manager Digital-Twin.

Main duties / responsibilities:

Manager – Digital-Twin

Data Migration

• Develop smart data migration plan and implement for the selected product family
• Define migration for mechanical and electrical components in the system model
• Implement the PoC lessons learnt captured and ensure same mistakes are not repeating
• Prepare the feedback mechanism and update on weekly basis with partner
• Prepare the quality matrix and capture the metrics data on daily basis
• Establish the communication channel for internal and external stakeholders wherever required 
• Implement the monitoring and control system for all the deliverables
• Responsibility for the planning, tracking the execution and controlling of the assigned tasks
• Follow the organisation standard procedure to complete the data migration work,

Process Upgrade

• Revisit the normal data migration and suggest alternative process
• Automate the migration process to 30%
• Ensure migration process keep updated on regular basis
• Ensure good co-ordination with external partner without any pinpoint with smooth engagement
• Guidance and support for First Level Support staff in competence centres
• Ensure and understand the importance of product structure and configuration

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

• Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, Industrial or Automobile engineering.

Professional experience:

• 10 – 25 years professional experience in Design & development of products with OEM’s
• Experience in Large data migration from one platform to other platform specifically Creo to DS 3D Experience platform
• Minimum of 5 – 6 yrs. of team management experience
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with external partner interaction and get delivery as per defined scope.

Professional skills:

• Basic knowledge of designing and Engineering Systems and Sub-System and components
• Experience in data migration / conversion projects and process (With data conversion tool migration experience will be added advantage)
• Experience in process development and implementation

Languages:

(+ levels: proficiency, advanced, intermediate, basic)

• Good written and spoken English
• Advantages if candidate poses multi languages

IT:

• Excellent Catia V6 or 3D Experience tools expertise
• Experience on Enovia
• Good in template and dashboard report preparation
• Creo tool know how
