Our client is a US-headquartered EdTech company that offers a student-first Connected Learning digital learning platform for students in multiple countries across the globe. They are hiring a Product Engineering leader for their R&D cum Delivery Centre in India.

Role & Responsibilities:
-
Lead the product engineering of India Learning Services products suite, steering the products and full stack technology teams in the India software engineering centre, working directly with their counterpart teams in the US.

Provide thought and execution leadership to the product engineering teams, encompassing technical guidance translating product road-map and architecture landscape to product engineering road-map and technology delivery plan, shaping strategy, planning and rapid product delivery with quality, to build highly scalable, secure, and available products on cloud infrastructure

Grow the product development teams with direct and matrixed staff of Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, QA and DevOps Engineers, ensuring career development of team members

Optimise engineering processes, leveraging agile development methodologies
Candidate requirements:
-
15+ years of managing multiple product engineering teams, leading teams in India and collaborating product stakeholders abroad

BE or MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
-
Knowledge and expertise in cloud-first strategies, including AWS, GCP, G Suite
-
Passion for building highly scalable and highly available system on cloud infrastructure

Proven experience in steering the responsibilities outlined above

Adaptability and ability to thrive in ambiguity

Appetite to work in a fast moving product development ecosystem

Strong engineering leadership and ability to attract top talent, motivate people, instil accountability and get best out of the team

Experience building relationships and understanding technology needs in dynamic and fast-moving global business environments
