Job Description
Job Title- Director: Finance
Location- Jaipur
Reports to- Chairman & Managing Director
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Collaborate closely with the Chairman and Managing Director to define and implement long-term business strategies that ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Provide expert financial guidance on investments, acquisitions, and market expansion, with a focus on new business verticals such as Transmission & Distribution.
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with company's goal of doubling revenue within the next 4-5 years.
Sustainable Growth & Profitability
- Lead financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s aggressive growth targets.
- Implement cost optimization and profitability enhancement strategies across multiple business segments, including highways, metro, railways, and solar projects.
- Establish frameworks to support growth while ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
Corporate Governance & Financial Compliance
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and mitigate risks.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and statutory financial obligations, promoting transparency and accountability.
Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational readiness for future projects and expansion initiatives.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning, ensuring the effective allocation of financial resources to strategic projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding for growth and expansion.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and manage a high-performing finance team of 50+ professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement programs for talent management, leadership development, and succession planning within the finance function.
- Encourage a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and problem-solving.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide regular financial updates and strategic insights to the Chairman, Managing Director, and Board of Directors to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Represent the finance function in executive meetings, contributing to the overall corporate strategy.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and lead negotiations for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships to accelerate business expansion.
- Develop financial models and feasibility studies to support high-impact investment decisions.
Sustainability & Long-Term Economic Growth
- Develop and implement sustainable financial practices that foster long-term economic growth while ensuring financial and environmental responsibility.
- Align financial strategies with company's broader sustainability objectives, fostering a culture of responsible corporate growth.
Key Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 20+ years of post-CA experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within large infrastructure, construction, energy, or related industries.
- Extensive experience in financial strategy, business planning, mergers & acquisitions, and leading large finance teams in high-growth environments.
- Proven expertise in handling complex financial operations across multiple sectors, including highways, metro, railways, solar, and Transmission & Distribution.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in financial planning, capital management, cost optimization, and financial risk management.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a strong ability to mentor and develop high-performance teams.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, business valuation, and strategic decision-making.
- Strong command of financial systems, ERP software such as SAP, and advanced analytical tools
