Job Summary:
The Director Financial Management Reporting would provide leadership and will be responsible for FMR (Record-to-Report) operations, Controllership, FP&A processes and would be responsible for service delivery, stakeholder management, automation and transformation, process improvements, people engagement and building domain expertise. S/he would be accountable for driving improvements around process and productivity in the operations. The incumbent would be responsible to identify opportunities for growth and deliver on growth commitments; identify key cost metrics and ensure they are optimized.

Responsible for FMR (Record-to-Report) operations of a large MNC, while driving business processes to improve efficiency and meet organization goals

Develop appropriate financial policies & procedures for operational control and recommend improvements

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to bring automation, simplification and standardization of various processes and successfully drive transformational changes across the finance organization

Work in close partnership with the business heads, leadership team(s) and senior finance leaders on multiple transformational initiatives and ensure effective collaboration

Develop, implement, and monitor the necessary and appropriate client servicing system operations as per applicable guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient finance operations

Manage operations managers and their teams; assign work, set performance expectations, assist in problem resolution, and monitor progress and drive teams performance as per organizational goals

Develop and track metrics for measuring efficiency of departmental processes and staff; produce reports for management on key statistics, trends, and metrics

Partner with multiple technology teams and be able to bring about transformation in terms of automation and drive process improvements across the processes and operations

Take initiative and responsibility for projects, promote teamwork and collaboration between staff, peers, vendors, and customers

Develop high-end complex accounting, financial & management reporting, FP&A and analytical capabilities in the team to drive effective decision making by multiple CFOs & business heads

Ensure adequate training for staff to facilitate coverage for critical departmental functions and to ensure proper general record keeping and financial controls
Profile Description:
-
Qualified CA/CWA/CMA/CPA with at least 15 years of experience in managing finance operations/RTR service delivery from a large organization of repute

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a GCC/GSS/GIC setup would be an added advantage

Hands-on experience in all finance related areas RTR areas in SAP general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable

First-hand experience on multiple entity financial consolidation; understanding of eliminations and specific consolidation journal entries

Excellent knowledge of FP&A - should have experience in preparation of budget and operating plans, analyzing, and reporting actual vs. forecast numbers, reviewing, and analyzing cost

Ability to make difficult and complex decisions using and interpreting available data or information to positively impact the operations and customer experience

Experience in handling large diverse teams and multiple customer-facing functions within the finance organisation and able to handle multiple large-scale projects with defined deadlines

Exceptional attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, leadership skills, influencing skills, problem solving, and decision-making skills are mandatory

Willingness to travel, work in different time zones, willingness to relocate to Chennai is key for the success of this role.
