Key Responsibilities
• Define, build and lead the full Business Data & Analytics structure (approximately 20 FTEs), organized around three core pillars: Data Governance, Data Analysis and Data Science, ensuring clear roles, accountability and integration across the function.
• Design and implement the end-to-end operating model of the function, including data infrastructure, governance standards, analytical frameworks and decision-support processes aligned with the Corporate / Companies business strategy.
• Act as an executive-level business partner and counterpart to Finance, Risk Management, Budgeting & Planning and Controlling functions, especially in the evaluation and launch of new products and commercial initiatives for the Companies segment.
• Ensure that all business analyses reflect a strong economic and banking understanding, including credit portfolio performance, risk-adjusted profitability, pricing policies, capital allocation logic and P&L impact at segment level.
• Provide analytical leadership in initiatives related to new corporate products, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, banking legislation and internal risk frameworks.
• Drive the integration of financial controlling, budgeting and performance management perspectives into business analytics, moving beyond pure reporting (MIS) toward forward-looking decision support and scenario modeling.
• Own the delivery of complex business and portfolio analyses supporting executive-level decisions in Corporate Banking, including profitability drivers, value creation levers, portfolio structure, pricing architecture and capital efficiency.
• Ensure close collaboration with Data Management and enterprise-wide governance structures to maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
• Participate as a member of the Corporate management team, contributing directly to strategic discussions, prioritization of initiatives and long-term business planning.
Ideal Profile
• Strong understanding of how a bank operates from a commercial, risk and financial perspective, with the ability to connect credit portfolio dynamics, pricing strategy, budgeting, capital allocation and P&L management within the Corporate / Companies segment.
• Senior executive profile with minimum 8 years of people management experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles within Risk Management, Financial Controlling, Budgeting & Planning, Strategic Finance or Business Analysis in a banking environment.
• Solid exposure to regulatory and banking legislation frameworks, with the ability to assess business initiatives and new product launches through both profitability and compliance lenses.
• Proven capability to build and scale teams (c.20 FTEs), define clear accountability models and design effective operating structures across Data Governance, Data Analysis and Data Science.
• Strong business acumen combined with analytical depth – able to translate data into economic insight, scenario modeling and decision-ready recommendations, beyond pure MIS or reporting functions.
• Experience acting as a credible executive counterpart to Finance, Risk and Budgeting leaders, particularly in complex decision-making related to new products, portfolio strategy and profitability optimization.
• Hands-on experience in data management and data governance initiatives, including the setup of data infrastructure, governance standards and quality frameworks aligned with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• University degree in Economics, Finance or related field; MBA or executive education programs represent an advantage.
• Advanced English, both written and spoken.
• Availability to travel; ability to operate effectively in hybrid, multi-location teams.
