Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance the hospital's Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate integration of quality improvement programs with clinical and hospital-wide operations.
• Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to support quality and performance improvement efforts.
• Supervise the Quality / Performance Improvement department, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and HIPAA regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctorate) in a health-related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Performance Improvement within a hospital setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred; must have relevant licensure, certification, or registration.

Certifications:

• CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or eligibility to sit for the exam within two years of employment.
• Expected to obtain Certified Professional Risk Management and/or Certified Professional Healthcare Quality Certification within three years of hire.
