Own and champion the development and implementation of the Company’s global strategic sourcing strategy

Job Requirements:

• BS degree (eg. Supply Chain Management) or equivalent plus 7 – 10 years of proven experience in professional sourcing and purchasing in an international industrial business.
• Minimum 2 years senior experience working in Europe or North America or Australia preferred.
• Previous category management/strategic sourcing experience with knowledge of business improvement techniques and their practical application.
• Ability to understand chemistry category-specific business, technology, and government trends.
• Ability to understand supply market and alternative/competition products within the industry.

• Actively engages with the Division’s commercial, finance, operational, innovation, technical, and quality control leaders

  · Manages supplier relationships by developing supplier programs and identifying continuous improvement initiatives

• Establishing strategic supply partnerships & eliminate supply risk

• Drive strategic value engineering and make vs buy decisions

  Directing organization focus to the largest spending items

  · Minimizing the cost of sourced goods & services whilst upholding the highest quality and customer service standards
