Responsibilities:

•  Define, design and architect scalable automotive systems and services.
•  Document and review architecture and technical design documents for guidance to product management and development team
•  Work hands on with operations to set up automotive cloud from scratch.
• Work with development, infrastructure, test, and production support teams to ensure proper implementation.
• Drive process improvements, best practices, and operational metrics to ensure effectiveness.
•  Propose technical approaches to implementing solutions within the scope of customer requirements.
•  Drive creation of tools and capabilities to facilitate application lifecycle operations like upgrades with no downtime, rollback, operational data collection, real-time monitoring, self-healing, and repair.
•  Build best in class connected vehicle services and applications with our own team as well as partners.
•  Leverage agile principles and practices to deliver the highest possible quality, performance and feature velocity.

Required skills:

•  10 Plus years’ full stack development experience building testable enterprise grade platform and applications, and 5+ years’ experience as Java architect.
•  7+ years of Software design and Development, Design Patterns, Object oriented design, layered architectures, distributed systems and Micro-services architecture including SaaS at scale.
•  Good English & Japanese Language Skills is a must.
•  In-depth understanding of API design and implementation using and developing Web services/RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON
•  Experience with cross-platform development: Java/SpringBoot, Javascript/Nodejs, Python
• 3+ years’ experience with Cloud technologies (AWS or MS Azure preferably), data streaming (Spark, Flink, Kafka streams, storm, etc.). Well versed in Kafka
• Prior experience in Telemetry, Automotive, IoT, SMS gateway integration, C2D, D2C, C2C communication technologies
• Understanding cloud native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, capable to cover full development lifecycle including CI/CD
• Experience with Data stores such as MongoDB, Aurora, RDS, Containers, and Cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, helms, spring securtiy, spring cloud, sprint boot, etc.
•  Experience in IOTHub, AWS IOT (Greengrass, ExpressLink, Core, Device Management, Analytics, etc),
•  Designing E2E system with AWS Media Services like Elastic Transcode, Kinesis, SignalR Media Live, Databases like DynamoDB, CosmosDB, Redis, Datalakes
•  Hands on experience in JAVA, Python, React, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP, SQL, .Net, REST, IAM, OAuth
•  Experience with large scale event-based and message-driven distributed system for IOT solutions
•  Strong familiarity with web servers and load balancing technologies.
•  Experience in use of source code management system like SVN or GIT and build tools like ant, maven, Gradle or make.
•  Understands the fundamentals of agile methodologies – TDD, iterative development, SCRUM, XP, continuous integration.
•  Good understanding of multi tenant cloud architecture design A full stack developer, with Web Services development experiences in Analytics, media, security and IOT domain
• Prior experience in FOTA cloud development, Device Management, Firmware Management, OMA-DM is a plus.
• Knowledge of tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Git, Jenkins/CruiseControl, JUnit, JMeter, Mockito, Google Mock, SonarCube/JaCoco, Jira
• Knowledge of Mobile app cloud interaction, Google APIs like notification, Google MAPs is a plus
•  Drive towards cost optimization of the cloud solution
•  Proficient in technology discussions with the customer
•  Must be able to work with multi-geography teams
•  Must be able to document design well Desired Skills
•  Strong Knowledge on AWS Cloud and Design solutions around AWS is a must.
•  Strong hands-on on Setup/Build Cloud Solutions and closely work with DevOps
• An understanding of Telematics, Mapping Applications, or Mobile Resource Management is a must.

•  Experience with Android Apps design & development is a plus.
•  Experience with web-based technologies, such as CSS3, HTML5 and AJAX.
•  Good written and verbal communication skills, Documentation skills needed. Experience in using Swaggar is a plus
