The ideal candidate will come from a strong sales technology background with a focus on tech products. As the Director of Business Expansion, you will be responsible for setting up and leading our sales operations in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on B2G and B2B2G sales. Your mission will be to create sales networks through partners such as distributors and integrators, while also establishing significant outreach with potential government agencies. A key component of this role is understanding our technology solutions critically to effectively scale sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Operations: Develop and implement sales strategies for our company’s deep tech products in Saudi Arabia. Spearhead the setup of sales operations in the region.
- B2B2G Sales: Leverage your expertise in B2B2G sales to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and secure contracts with government agencies and other relevant entities.
- Network Development: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors, integrators, and other potential sales partners to expand our company’s market presence.
- Outreach: Proactively engage with potential government agencies to showcase the company’s solutions, understand their needs, and position our products as key solutions to address their challenges.
- Creation: Ability to leverage existing material and do a market fit for the local ecosystem
- Sales Experience: sales experience in Software, and technology space is a plus
- Market Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of the local Saudi Arabian market to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential customers.
- Development: Drive business development efforts, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and expand the customer base in the region.
- Visits: Visit the Riyadh office at least twice a week to collaborate with the team, participate in meetings, and ensure effective sales coordination.
- Communication: Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and challenges to the CEO.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales leadership, especially in deep tech products and solutions.
- Extensive experience in B2G and B2B2G sales, with a successful track record of closing deals with government agencies and enterprises.
- Previous experience in creating and managing sales networks through distributors, integrators, or other partners.
- Understanding of technology-related sales
- Strong local connections within the Saudi Arabian business ecosystem.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to understand and articulate complex technology solutions effectively.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive results with a proactive and go-getter attitude.
