Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring that goods are efficiently transported and delivered 
• Evaluate processes, workflows, and solutions and identifies opportunities to reduce costs, production time, and other areas lacking efficiency; recommends improvements
• Overseeing the activities of staff in order to ensure that operations flow smoothly
• Liaising with vendors in order to come up with the best and cheaper price possible on materials and transportation service
• Managing budgets&keeping a careful eye on costs 
• Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules, and responsibility and compliance matrices.
• Participate in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, 
• Remain up to date on developments that could impact the company's operations and overall business. plans, schedules.
• Stay current with industry practices in logistics, operations, and transportation solutions to drive innovation.
• Prepares reports and presents project plans, progress, and results.

Skills&Competenties 

• B.A/M.A  in transportation, business, supply chain, and other fields related to logistics with several years of professional experience. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work with all levels within the organization
• Knowledge in all phases of supply chain
• Hands on management style and ability to effectively communicate with, relate to and motivate all employee
• Ability to think outside the box in developing solutions to logistical issues and problems
• Insightful in dealing with obstacles and resolving conflict
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Good negotiation skills in order to arrive at agreements that benefit the company or organization
• Particular attention to details in order to avoid mistakes and ensure operations are carried out successfull
• Proficient with Microsoft Office  or similar software.
