Job Description
For a pharmaceutical company specialized in animal health,
we are looking for a
District Sales Manager - Northwest Italy
Main Duties:
- Reach sales target in the assigned area (Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria)
- Lead and coordinate the area commercial team (sales reps, agents)
- Customer relationships management through planning and coordination of the local sales structure
- Manage the assigned budget, optimizing the sizing of structural and sales costs in compliance with spending limits and company plans
- Analyze and understand sales data (Sell In/Sell Out, SIT) to drive investments in the assigned areas
- Deal with reporting activities
- Maintain relationships with major and potential customers supporting the sales team in the negotiation process if necessary
- Identify added value projects with vets in the assigned area
- Guarantee a proper coaching, training & development plans for the sales team
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of animal health markets
- At least 2-3 years of successful experience in a previous people manager role
- At least 5+ years of sales experience
- Ability to influence and deliver results through others
- Ability to analyze and interpret sales data
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in coaching sales representatives of different levels of seniority
- English level (spoken and written) at least upper intermediate (Full B2 level)
