• Understanding of Enterprise platforms and their architecture.

• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
• Good understanding and implementation experience of Cloud native technologies, Agile DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management
• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
• Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments
• Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
• Excellent analytical and technical skills
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
• Certifications like TOGAF9, AWS / Azure cloud architect etc would be preferred
• In addition, ability to clearly articulate and document the ideas and present design solutions and options for integration with other enterprise applications
• Proven experience to architect products based on Microservices based architecture, REST, SOAP/XML etc
• Deep understanding of latest integration/interface technologies and standards
• In-depth experience of J2EE/JVM based architecture & design with good knowledge of Grails.
• Knowledge and experience with various aspects of identity management and security
• Experience of reviewing the designs developed by senior developers, junior architects. Coach, mentor and lead them towards achieving consistency and standards based on targeted architecture of the product suite.
• Experience applying agile development methodologies and associated tools
• Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira/Confluence etc.)

•  Excellent understanding of the systems architecture, application architecture, middleware architecture, business architecture, high availability, reliability, scalability, layered security, cloud architecture, etc.
• Define the overall technical architecture for the system for the functional / non-functional requirements
• Implement design patterns with the objective of ZERO maintenance and high performance
• Hands-on approach in performance tuning, security and penetration fixes, debugging, framework setup, automation testing, refactoring and supporting the team during the development phase.
• Preparing technical solution / architecture documents, lead POCs using new and latest technologies.
• Providing hardware sizing and deployment topology recommendations based on client requirements
• Own and enforce common design, architecture and re-usable component across multiple products within the company.
• Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise solutions.
• Establish Coding standards. Perform internal audits of the development work performed to ensure coding standard are followed.
• Ability to multitask and must be able to work in fast paced environment.
• Ensure applications adhere to established BAL standards, policies, methodologies and industry best practices
• Understand security, compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
• Lead and participate in enterprise architecture activity along with identifying relevant and future technology architecture for the firm and its respective businesses
• Understand the current IT/Technology trends and analyze/identify the impact of each trend on the business segments within vertical in relation to area under purview.
• Review and maintain enterprise business system and client technologies architectures.
• Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives and produce project architecture designs
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and capabilities in order to prepare and respond to needs and expectations of businesses
• Design and develop Architecture solutions to perform at scale. Conducts assessments for product/service portfolio of Line of Business for architectural impact, compliance and recommends actions.
• Guide technology teams on the selection of products in alignment with Technology Standards and provide architecture designs and solutions.
• Drive Architecture review Board and advice on Technology, identify and drive appropriate research, technology investigation, and adoption. Advise on and drive architecture designs, patterns, and solutions.
• Provides in-depth technical and systems consultation to ensure alignment with the Enterprise Architecture.
• Promotes the leveraging of standard technologies, designs, and reference architectures in order to effectively meet business availability demands.
• Lead technology initiatives incubate and build tools & reusable assets for dev / Productivity enhancement.
• Create reusable assets / supporting artifacts based on the industry landscape.
