Determines donor suitability to undergo plasmapheresis procedure including vital sign determination, medical history questioning, HCT/TP/weight determination and set up, disconnect, and operation of the automated plasmapheresis machine. Monitors donors ensuring safe and successful plasmapheresis procedures. Assists in the plasma collection process under the supervision of a certified employee and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures Manual guidelines.  May also perform all iontophoresis technician operator functions including response and evaluation of all iontophoresis trouble shooting displays.

Qualifications:

• Nurse or Health Technical Institute graduate or equivalent. 
• Typically requires 1 years of clinical experience.  Experience with plasma or whole blood, and with cGMP regulated environment preferred.
