E-Commerce Lead

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and commercially minded E-Commerce Lead to develop and execute the company's e-commerce strategy across key online channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving online sales growth, optimizing digital shelf presence, managing marketplace relationships, and enhancing the overall consumer experience across e-commerce platforms.
This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen, digital marketing expertise, category management, and data analytics within a fast-paced FMCG or Consumer Health environment.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute the company's e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives.

Drive sustainable online sales growth across marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, pharmacies, and direct-to-consumer channels.

Identify new e-commerce opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

Develop annual business plans, forecasts, and performance targets for e-commerce channels.
Channel & Account Management

Manage relationships with key online retailers, marketplaces, and e-pharmacy partners.

Lead annual negotiations, promotional planning, and joint business plans with e-commerce customers.

Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and market share.

Ensure optimal product assortment, pricing, and availability across all online channels.
Digital Shelf Excellence

Optimize product listings, content, images, and brand visibility across online platforms.
-
Monitor and improve search rankings, conversion rates, ratings, and reviews.
-
Ensure consistency of brand guidelines and product information across all digital touchpoints.
Commercial & Performance Management
-
Analyze sales performance, consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive activities.
-
Monitor KPIs including sales growth, conversion rates, average order value, traffic, and profitability.

Develop action plans based on data-driven insights to maximize performance.

Prepare regular business reviews and performance reports for senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Service teams.

Coordinate promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.

Ensure product availability and inventory optimization to support business demand.
Consumer Experience

Drive initiatives to improve customer experience, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Monitor consumer feedback and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Support the development of consumer-centric digital journeys and engagement programs.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Pharmacy, or a related field.

MBA is an advantage.
Experience Requirements
-
5–8 years of experience in E-Commerce, Digital Commerce, Key Account Management, Category Management, or Commercial roles.

Minimum 2–3 years in a leadership position.
-
FMCG experience is mandatory.

Experience within Consumer Health, Healthcare, Personal Care, Nutrition, or OTC categories is highly preferred.

Proven experience managing major e-commerce marketplaces and online retail partners.
Technical Skills

Strong understanding of e-commerce business models and digital retail ecosystems.

Experience with marketplace management and online merchandising.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with e-commerce analytics tools and digital performance metrics.
