We are seeking to recruit an E-Commerce Manager, based in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing the e-commerce function within a large-scale organization, with a focus on driving growth, enhancing customer experience, and achieving business performance objectives.
Purpose of the role is to establish and sustain undisputed market leadership for the e-commerce business in the UAE by driving growth and achieving financial targets in line with business objectives, while ensuring a seamless, efficient, and delightful customer experience across all stages of the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the e-commerce websites, ensuring the achievement of all business KPIs related to sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the online purchase journey is smooth, intuitive, quick, and reliable.
- Analyze customer behavior and market trends to identify key purchase drivers, quantify untapped market potential, and capitalize on “white space” opportunities to increase online conversions.
- Ensure optimal website performance — visually appealing, user-friendly, fast-loading, and secure for all users.
- Enhance online visibility and traffic by leveraging SEO best practices and digital optimization tools.
- Leverage data and analytics to develop insightful reports that monitor key business, performance, and website metrics.
- Interpret MIS and analytics reports to identify growth opportunities and areas for operational and customer experience improvement.
- Drive operational efficiency through effective inventory management and replenishment processes.
- Foster customer engagement by developing and maintaining an active online community through promotions, loyalty programs, and reward initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4–6 years of proven success in managing an e-commerce platform for a large-scale organization, preferably within the Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Wine & Spirits industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related commercial discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth, optimize digital performance, and deliver measurable business results.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Relevant UAE market experience is essential, and the candidate must be currently based in the UAE.
