EDI-Support Engineer responsibilities include support & optimization of EDI Services and maintaining customer satisfaction. He should have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to end users and IT Leadership over email/phone if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports Operational Incident / Problem / Services Request Tickets related to EDI Services 24x7.
• Updates Tickets in ServiceNow for resolution and update Knowledge Base Documents accordingly.
• Requirements analysis, Design, Tests, Validation and Integration of EDI Services with various IT Systems with business, external customers, and suppliers
• B2B/EDI for Industries standard and controlled exchange of documents.
• Coordinate between end users & EDI Services provider if any to resolve tickets.
• Report the status of tickets for P1/P2 to Business Leads and IT Leadership.
• Report the weekly/monthly status reports of all Tickets for EDI Services to IT Leadership.

Competencies, Key Skills and Experience:

Education:

• B. Tech in Computer Science / MCA in Computer Science / Application, Information or Technology Systems or related fields or appropriate working knowledge.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in EDI Technologies and Services.
• Experience in SEEBURGER Business Integration Suit consists of:
  • Managed File Transfer (MFT) - Secure transmission of data between systems
  • API/EAI - Connect applications and cloud services in real time
  • B2B/EDI - Industry-standard and controlled exchange of documents
  • IoT - Integrate equipment, systems & devices into business processes
  • E-Invoicing-Predefined country-specific regulations, compliance & reporting
  • ERP/SAP & QAD Integration- Connection to any ERP system seamlessly
  • Experience in SEEBURGER Adapters e.g. REST adapter, OFTP2 adapter, EDIFACT adapter, SAP tRFC adapter, Webservices adapter etc.
  • Experience in SEEBURGER – Connectors e.g. BIS Microsoft Dynamics AX connector, Google Cloud Storage connector, Microsoft Azure File Storage connector, SAP Ariba connector.
  • SEEBURGER EPX - Engineering (CAD/CAx) & product data exchange

• Hands-on experience in Programming languages such as Java or C++, SQL , VB, .Net  for EDI Implementation / Integration.
