Responsibilities:

• Fleet Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the electric scooter fleet, including maintenance, charging, and distribution. Ensure the scooters are available and fully operational for customers at all times.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair tasks for the electric scooters. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address issues promptly and keep the fleet in excellent working condition.
• Battery Management: Implement effective charging and battery rotation schedules to maximize the lifespan of scooter batteries and optimize their performance.
• Fleet Optimization: Analyze data and usage patterns to identify high-demand areas and adjust scooter distribution accordingly. Optimize fleet size and placement to meet customer demand effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of the fleet to ensure all scooters meet safety standards and are free from damages. Remove any scooters from service that do not meet safety requirements until repairs are completed.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of scooter inventory, tracking the number of scooters available, in use, and undergoing maintenance or repairs.
• Training and Onboarding: Train new team members on fleet management procedures, safety protocols, and scooter maintenance. Provide ongoing support and guidance to the fleet management team.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance fleet efficiency and performance. Prepare regular reports for management to assess fleet performance.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure the fleet operation complies with all local regulations and safety standards related to electric scooter usage and operations.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure new scooters, parts, and accessories as needed.
• Customer Support: Coordinate with the customer support team to address customer inquiries and issues related to scooter availability, maintenance, and charging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in fleet management, operations, or logistics.
• Familiarity with electric scooters, battery technology, and charging procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage a large fleet efficiently.
• Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise a team of fleet technicians and chargers.
• Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards for electric scooter usage.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require some outdoor work and flexibility in night working hours to address operational demands and emergencies.
