Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Design and develop control and instrumentation sytems and create ways to measure variables such as temperature, pressure, and flow; Develop and interpret process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems; Plan and execute periodic maintenance and calibration of instruments.
- Testing and Troubleshooting: Test, troubleshoot, and adjust instrumentation systems and analyze data to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Project Management: Manage engineering projects in collaboration with other engineers and professionals and deliver them on time.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that installations and applications are in in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Certifications: Certified Automation Professional (CAP) and Certifications from specific equipment manufacturers, such as Siemens, ABB, or Honeywell, can be beneficial.
- Experience: At least ten years of professional experience in engineer electrical and instrumentation engineering or related fields, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is crucial.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Specific working conditions:
- Rotation offshore: 28/28 or Office work (40h/per week)
- Transportation costs paid from home location to work location
- Expenses fully covered during rotation
