Position Details

• Position Title: Electrical Engineer / Sr. Electrical Engineer

• Reporting To: Team Leader / Manager

• Work Location: Vadodara

• Qualification: Minimum BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

• Experience: 6–12 years in Power System Studies and Grid Compliance Studies

• Joining Timeline: Within 15–30 days

Key Skills

• Strong experience in Power System Studies for renewable/industrial projects (minimum 5 years).

• Proficiency in PSS/E, PSCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and ETAP (expertise in PSS/E, PSCAD, and DIgSILENT highly preferred).

• Proven track record in Grid Compliance Studies for renewable projects (India/Middle East/US projects preferred).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct steady-state and transient power system studies, including RMS and EMT modelling.

• Perform the following studies:

  • Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, and Protection Coordination

  • Power Quality (Harmonics, Flicker)

  • Grid Compliance, Grid Impact, and Grid Integration Studies

  • Stability and Contingency Analysis

  • Insulation Coordination (including switching studies)

  • Grounding and Cable Ampacity

  • Quasi load flow / Time-series load flow

• Simulation and modelling in ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory (mandatory), PSSE, EMTP, PSCAD

• Experience with Solar PV, Wind, and BESS systems modelling desirable.

• Preparation of high-quality technical reports, presentations, and outputs.

• Coding/scripting in DSL/Python for automation would be advantageous.

• Application of grid codes (India, Middle East, Africa; others desirable).

• Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, IS, NEC).

• Manual engineering calculations – reactive power, transformer sizing, CT/PT, earthing, lightning, and relay protection.

• Exposure to HVDC, SVC, STATCOM an added benefit.

• On-site experience with relay settings and harmonic measurements desirable.

• Contribution to business development through technical knowledge sharing (blogs, white papers, client support).

• Review of vendor documents, protection schemes, inverter/BESS/wind turbine documentation.

Candidate Profile

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience in renewable projects (solar, wind, BESS) preferred, particularly in power evacuation studies.

• Exposure to Green Hydrogen projects would be an added advantage.

• Professionals from Oil & Gas or Process Industries with power system backgrounds may also apply.

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as per project requirements.

• Strong reporting, communication, and deadline-driven work ethic.

• Commitment to organizational Health, Safety, and Environmental protocols.
