Responsibilities -

- EDI Implementation and Integration: Collaborate with our customers and suppliers to configure and integrate EDI XML files as per EDIFACT standards. Ensure that the EDI setup meets the requirements of both parties for seamless data exchange.

- New Customer and Supplier Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding of new customers and suppliers into our existing EDI system, facilitating smooth integration and data exchange.

- EDI XML File Mapping and Issue Resolution: Handle mapping issues with EDI XML files, addressing internal tickets from end users when they identify mapping discrepancies.

- Daily Transmission Review: Review daily transmissions to identify and address any failed imports into our ERP system, "IFS."

- Testing Coordination: Coordinate necessary testing with internal core users and third-party portals to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EDI transactions.

- Connectivity Management: Monitor and manage the connection between our ERP system "IFS" and various FTP folders used for transferring EDI files.

- EDI Status Reporting: Provide status updates to core users regarding the progress of EDI integration with customers and suppliers.

- EDI Document Mapping: Map inbound and outbound EDI documents based on IFS logic, ensuring accurate data flow between systems.

- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the EDI process, streamlining workflows, and reducing manual intervention.

Skills & Experience

- Extensive EDIFACT Knowledge: In-depth understanding of EDIFACT standards, including experience with specific EDI XML files such as 850 Purchase Order and 810 Invoice.

- EDI Experience: Proven experience in implementing, configuring, and managing EDI transactions in a professional setting.

- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills to work with EDI portals, ERP systems, FTP, and other relevant software for EDI setup and integration.

- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate data mapping, validation, and resolution of any discrepancies.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot EDI-related issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, customers, and suppliers for successful EDI integration and support.
