Job Description

BE/M.Tech in Mechanical/Design Engineering
8+ Years’ Experience in product design & drafting, Research & Development.
Proficient at creating detailed mechanical drawings for components and assemblies. Adept in maximizing form, fit and function through meticulous design model evaluation.
Assists in creating layout, solid models, assembly and detailing of Switchgear subsystems, components, and interface structures etc. using CAD/PLM tools like Creo, Windchill etc.
Expertise with Creo Parametric including some of the more advanced features such as Mechanism, Simulate, and Cabling.
Has an understanding and is a proficient user of GD&T. Understands what tolerance zones apply from different callouts while understanding what impacts of the MMC and LMC modifiers have.
Experience in handling new product development and release processes with the tools required.
Hands on experience in sheet-metal design and knowledge on Industry standards.
Good Knowledge in Material selection, Manufacturing processes, principle of mechanisms.
Analytical led design with calculations, using structural analysis software
Knowledge in tools like APQP, DFMEA, DVP, DFM, PPAP is an add on.
Good at project management, communication skills and teamwork.
