For our customer, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-efficiency fan and motor products, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, designing, implementation and verification of embedded software in subsystems in the product development
• Analysis, optimization and bug-fixing of existing product software
• Interface to other specialist departments and external companies
• Independent planning of activities concerning effort, cost and schedule
• Creation and integration of software in hardware environment and implementation of corresponding software tests
• Qualification of software
• Creation of software documentation, software specifications, code review and test reports, etc.
• Series transition and coordination of software quality assurance measures
• Involvement in structures, processes and methods for the creation and qualification of software

Qualifications

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, (technical) computer science or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in a similar role
• Experience in microcontroller programming and in dealing with development/simulation tools
• Excellent knowledge of the programming languages C / C++
• Knowledge of requirements engineering, FMEA and communication protocols LIN / CAN / EtherCAT / profinet is an advantage
• Good written and spoken English knowledge
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Systematic and structured way of thinking and proceeding
• Independent and careful way of working
• Creativity in finding solutions and an innovative spirit
